He's off

My little dude started second grade. Wow.

His sister had to wait another two days for kindergarten to start. (Evidently, she was not pleased.)

You are a great big brother. You are kind to everyone. You have a way with animals that makes them feel instantly at ease in your presence. Your teachers say you are the same way with your classmates. You are so smart you correct what I say before I even know what I said.

I promised myself I wouldn't cry. But as the bus took you out of sight, I was thankful it was raining.  Have a great time, little guy.
